The base station and portable handset must not transmit simultaneously with any other transmitter, except in accordance with FCC multi-transmitter product procedures or as described in this filing. The base station unit must be installed such that its antenna(s) can provide a separation distance of at least 20 cm from all persons. Body-worn operations of the portable handset are restricted to belt-clips, holsters or similar accessories that have no metallic component in the assembly and which provide at least 10 mm separation between the device and the user body.
