Public user-manual document pages and public TAC lookup pages use Ezoic advertising to support FCCID.io. Ezoic analytics measures visits across the public site, including pages without ads. Private IMEI input and result pages do not load advertising or third-party analytics scripts.

Ezoic and its advertising partners may use cookies and similar technologies to deliver and measure ads, subject to your privacy choices. Where GDPR applies, you can choose necessary cookies only, manage individual purposes and vendors, and later withdraw consent using the Privacy settings control at the edge of the page. In covered US jurisdictions, use Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information in the footer or Ezoic's privacy notice to review or change your opt-out choices. These controls appear where Ezoic's regional consent manager applies. Rejecting optional cookies does not remove advertising; contextual ads may still appear.

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

We honor Global Privacy Control for our own paid conversion tracking. A recognized US opt-out of sale, sharing or targeted advertising also disables this tracking. Where consent is required, conversion tracking waits for the appropriate consent signal; an unavailable or loading signal does not authorize it. When you arrive from a Google or Microsoft advertisement, we may store its click and campaign identifiers in a first-party browser cookie for up to 30 days, where permitted by your consent. Ezoic estimated advertising revenue increments can be sent to the network that acquired the visit to measure campaign value. Our first-party ledger stores increment identifiers, values, click attribution and the public page path; it does not store the IMEI, raw email address or form contents. Global Privacy Control disables this paid conversion capture. Predicted revenue is an estimate and differs from settled publisher earnings.

We use public filing data to operate the archive. Information you send in a privacy or support request is used to respond and resolve that request. Hosting, CDN and security services may process request details, such as IP address, browser information and public page URLs, to deliver the site, prevent abuse and diagnose errors. Analytics helps us understand use of the public site.

The advertising attribution cookie expires after 30 days. Pending conversion retries in browser session storage expire after 30 minutes and are cleared when tracking consent is withdrawn or a recognized opt-out applies. Server conversion records are retained as needed to reconcile campaign reporting, diagnose measurement errors and meet recordkeeping obligations. Privacy-request correspondence is retained as needed to resolve and document the request. Public FCC filings remain archival records, subject to applicable removal and restriction rules.

Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction or deletion of personal information; withdraw consent; object to processing; or opt out of sale, sharing or targeted advertising. Send requests, questions or appeals concerning a privacy request to info@fccid.net. Identify the information or public record concerned without sending unnecessary sensitive data. We may need information to verify a request and may retain records where required or permitted by law. You may also contact your local data protection authority. Exercising privacy choices does not require an account.

FCCID.io is a public equipment certification archive and is not directed at children. Advertising partners and infrastructure providers may process information in countries other than your own; their privacy policies describe their processing and safeguards. We update this policy when our practices change.

The IMEI / TAC lookup accepts a 14-digit IMEI base or a complete 15-digit IMEI. For a 14-digit base it calculates and appends the Luhn check digit; for a complete IMEI it validates the supplied check digit. A visitor may explicitly place either form in a /TAC/ URL; that URL is served in place and its canonical link points to the TAC-only page.

After a visitor completes the CAPTCHA and explicitly requests additional device details, FCCID.io transiently sends the completed IMEI to third-party device compatibility services. Their own privacy terms apply to that transmission. A TAC-only submission does not make these requests. A detail-page refresh prefers a validated IMEI found in indexed FCC evidence and otherwise uses a generated, structurally valid representative IMEI for the TAC.

FCCID.io stores only normalized TAC-level device and compatibility observations, an opaque short-lived job token, and endpoint health counters. It does not store the complete IMEI, and it discards serial-specific blacklist fields rather than publishing or retaining them. Stored observations omit null-like values and combine duplicate values without publicly identifying the compatibility service.

IMEI URL, lookup, and progress responses are marked no-store and noindex, use a no-referrer policy, and contain no advertising or other third-party scripts. FCCID.io does not write the complete IMEI to its application database, analytics events, application logs, or origin access log. The result displays the IMEI and equivalent formats only to the requester so the validation can be understood.

Because an IMEI or 14-digit IMEI base may be part of a visitor-chosen URL, it may still be retained outside FCCID.io by the visitor's browser, network intermediary, DNS or security service, or the CDN that delivers the request. CAPTCHA-protected IMEI submissions continue to the full IMEI validation page, which is private and canonicalized to its TAC-only page. TAC-only detail pages contain device-type data and do not contain an individual device serial number.
