Grant CommentsThis application was originally granted on 07/01/2002. NOTE 1: 16K0F3E, 11K0F3E, 20K0F1E, 8K10F1E, 8K0F1D NOTE 2: 16K0F3E, 11K0F3E Power is conducted. All powers are switchable to 1 watt except 118 - 137 MHz which is switchable to 7.5 watts. In addition, the band 806 - 870 MHz can be switched to 3 watts. The band 450 - 550 MHz has the emissions designators listed in NOTE 1. This band has switchable power levels of 4 watts and 1 watt. When used with an operator programmable frequency agile control unit, this transmitter is not acceptable for use in the frequency range 156 - 162 MHz at ship stations under Part 80 and is limited to aircraft installation and operation pursuant to Section 90.423 of the Commission's Rules. 90.210 is single channel mode pursuant to Section 90.203(j) of the Commission's Rules. 406 - 406.1 MHz is reserved for use with distress beacons.
