Use of external antennas requires professional installation, but external antennas within the 5.15-5.25 GHz band are prohibited. Professional installers within the 5.15-5.25 GHz band must adhere to the outdoor usage restrictions of 15.407(e). When Professional Installation does apply, end users must be prohibited from access to any programming parameters. The antenna used for this device must be installed to provide a separation distance of at least 20cm from all persons, and must not be co-located or operating in conjunction with any other antenna or transmitter other than that contained within this device. Users and OEM integrators must be provided with antenna installation instructions and transmitter operating conditions for satisfying RF Exposure compliance.
