| Grant Comments | The power output listed is at the antenna terminal of this device. This is an OEM module approved for use in products operating as a mobile transmitting device, with respect to 2.1091. The module must transmit with a duty factor not exceeding 9%, controlled by protocol firmware. Products operating with this module are required to provide a minimum separation distance of at least 20 cm between the antenna and all persons during normal operation. The device has been tested for SAR compliance using a specific 0 dBd, quarter-wave ground independent vertical antenna connected to the module through a 2 ft cable. Products operating with this module are limited to the same antenna and similar cable loss configurations for satisfying RF exposure compliance. Grantee must coordinate with OEM integrators to ensure the end-users of products operating with this module are provided with operating instructions to satisfy RF exposure requirements. Separate approval is required for all other operating configurations, including portable configurations with respect to 2.1093 and different antenna configurations. The highest reported SAR is 1.41 W/kg, at 9% duty factor. |
