Grant CommentsPower listed is conducted. This device is a Modular Approval to be used only for mobile and fixed applications. The internal / external antennas used for this mobile transmitter must provide a separation distance of at least 20 cm from all persons and must not be co-located or operating in conjunction with any other antenna or transmitter. Installers must provided with antenna installation instructions. A broken antenna is changed only by the professional installer. End users may not be provided with the module installation instructions. OEM integrators and end users must be provided with transmitter operating conditions for satisfying RF exposure compliance. Portable exposure conditions requires separate equipment authorization. Compliance of this module in its final configuration is the responsibility of the Grantee. If the second manufacturer/installer desires to use an antenna with this module that has not been previously approved for use with it, then the Grantee must file a Class II permissive change to approve the new antenna with the module. Alternatively, the second manufacturer/installer may obtain a separate FCC equipment authorization for the module and the new antenna. If the second manufacturer/installer markets a device that does not comply with the Grantees instructions for antenna configuration without having obtained a separate FCC equipment authorization for the module and new antenna configuration, that device will be considered unauthorized equipment. Marketing of unauthorized equipment is prohibited by Section 2.803 of the FCC Rules. The module is labled with its own FCC ID number. If the module is inside of an end product, the label will not be visible. In this case the end product will be labled exterior with "contains FCC ID: PGM860505".
