Grant CommentsOutput power is rated conducted as measured at integral connector; highest measured rated radiated power for integral antenna is 1.291 W ERP for Part 22 and 0.971 W EIRP for Part 24. For use with external antenna option(s) in mobile RF exposure conditions, the antenna used for this transmitter must be installed to provide a separation distance of at least 20 cm from all persons. The antenna installation and operating configurations of this transmitter, including antenna gain and cable loss, must satisfy the MPE categorical exclusion requirements of 2.1091. For use in portable RF exposure conditions, device was tested for SAR compliance for use in notebook computers with connector configurations and accessories as described in filing(s) under this FCC ID, and can be used with notebook computers with substantially similar physical dimensions, construction, and electrical and RF characteristics. A specific instruction label, as accepted in filing(s) under this FCC ID, must be displayed on the device to inform users about the operating requirements for satisfying SAR compliance. Use of other accessories may not ensure compliance with RF exposure guidelines. Compliance of this device in all final host configurations is the responsibility of the Grantee. The antenna(s) used for this transmitter must not be co-located or operating in conjunction with any other antenna or transmitter within a host device, except in accordance with FCC multi-transmitter product guidelines. End-users must be provided with specific information required to satisfy RF exposure compliance for all final notebook computer host devices and external antenna optional configurations. The maximum reported body SAR values are: Part 22 - 0.78 W/kg; Part 24 - 1.51 W/kg.
