Grant CommentsSingle Modular Approval. Output power is ERP for Part 22H and EIRP for Part 24E. Modular approval for mobile RF Exposure conditions, the antenna(s) used for this transmitter must be installed to provide a separation distance of at least 20cm from all persons and must not be co-located or operating in conjunction with any other antenna or transmitter. Installation in portable host configurations requires additional evaluation and certification. Approval is limited to OEM installation only. OEM integrators must be provided with antenna installation instructions. OEM integrators and end-users must be provided with transmitter operating conditions for satisfying RF exposure compliance. This grant is valid only when the device is sold to OEM integrators and the OEM integrators are instructed to ensure that the end user has no manual instructions to remove or install the device. Grantee must provide instruction and coordinate with OEM integrators to determine applicable host configurations to ensure compliance including RF exposure and simultaneous transmission. The maximum antenna gains that can be used with this module to comply with radiated power limits and categorical exclusion from RF exposure evaluation are 3.62dBi for Part 24E; 3.4dBi for Part 22H.
