Gemalto M2M GmbH LTE/WCDMA Module ELS61-AUS

An FCC ID is the product ID assigned by the FCC to identify wireless products in the market. The FCC chooses 3 or 5 character "Grantee" codes to identify the business that created the product. For example, the grantee code for FCC ID: QIPELS61-AUS is QIP. The remaining characters of the FCC ID, ELS61-AUS, are often associated with the product model, but they can be random. These letters are chosen by the applicant. In addition to the application, the FCC also publishes internal images, external images, user manuals, and test results for wireless devices. They can be under the "exhibits" tab below.

OEM integrators must insure that the end user has no manual instructions to remove or install the ELS61-AUS module. For mobile and fixed operating configurations the antenna gain, including cable loss, must not exceed 2.15 dBi at 850 MHz as defined in 2.1091 for satisfying RF exposure compliance. Under no condition may an antenna gain be used that would exceed the 7W erp Part 22 power limits. The Grantee is responsible for providing the documentation required for modular use. The responsibility for the use of this module, in all configurations utilized or contemplated, remains with the Grantee.

BC: The output power is continuously variable from the value listed in this entry to 5%-10% of the value listed.
