The antenna used for the down-link (2110-2155MHz) are limited to a maximum gain of 18dBi and must be fixed mounted and installed to provide a separation distance of at least 400 cm from all persons. The output power setting and antenna used for the up-link (1710-1755MHz) must be configured to ensure that the eirp does not exceed 1Watt and are limited to a maximum antenna height of 10 meters above ground. Installers and end users must be provided with antenna installation instructions and transmitting device operating conditions. Co-location with other antennas requires additional evaluation to determine if routine evaluation per 1.1307 is required.
