Grant CommentsPower output is conducted. Limited Single Module Approval. This device is to be used only for mobile and fixed application. The antenna used for this transmitter must be installed to provide a separation distance of at least 20 cm from all persons and must not be co-located or operating in conjunction with any other antenna or transmitter, except in accordance with FCC multi-transmitter product procedures. This module can only be used with a host antenna circuit trace layout design in strict compliance with the OEM instructions provided. Compliance of this device in all final host configurations is the responsibility of the Grantee. The use of a different trace layout other than approved requires a Class II Permissive Change or a New Grant as appropriate. Grantee must coordinate with OEM integrator to determine applicable host configurations to ensure RF exposure compliance. End-User must be provided with transmitter operation conditions for satisfying RF exposure compliance. OEM integrator must ensure that the end use has no access to the antennas/connectors and has no manual instructions to remove or install this module. The change filed under this application reflect the use of a different antenna with matching circuit (matching components are part of antenna and no changes have been made to the module internally) replacing the original device antenna. No other changes were made to the radio from when it was tested under the original grant. Also note that this version of the device is locked via firmware to only operate in the 902.1375 - 904.6625MHz band and not the 920.1375 - 922.6625MHz band. This filing meets MPE requirements of KDB447498 and can be used in mobile configurations.
