| Grant Comments | Single Modular Approval. Power out is conducted at the antenna terminal. ERP for part 22 is 32.87 dBm and EIRP for part 24 is 27.23 dBm. This device is to be used only for mobile and fixed application. The antenna(s) used for this transmitter must be installed to provide a separation distance of at least 20 cm from all persons and must not be co-located or operating in conjunction with any other antenna or transmitter. End-Users must be provided with transmitter operation conditions for satisfying RF exposure compliance. OEM integrators must insure that the end user has no manual instructions to remove or install the SIM900E module. For mobile and fixed operating configurations the antenna gain, including cable loss, must not exceed 2.5 dBi at 1900 MHz and 4.5 dBi at 850 MHz as defined in 2.1091 for satisfying RF exposure compliance. Under no condition may an antenna gain be used that would exceed the 7W erp Part 22 and the 2W eirp Part 24 power limits. The Grantee is responsible for providing the documentation required for modular use. |
