This transmitter operates as a remote unit as part of a system along with head end unit components as described in this filling, and excluding any other devices connected to the (uplink) output terminal of the head end unit. This application covers only the system configuration with head end unit connected to a base station in the uplink path; operations if any with head end unit connected to antenna or amplifier in the uplink require separate equipment authorization. The head end unit must always be connected to the base station using a direct cabled connections. This system has not been approved for use with a wireless connection via server antenna to the base station. This transmitter must be installed to provide a separation distance of at least 20 cm from all persons. Users and installers must be provided with appropriate antenna installation instructions and transmitter operating conditions, including antenna co-location requirements for satisfying RF exposure compliance.
