GE MDS, LLC Radio Module DS-4GY

An FCC ID is the product ID assigned by the FCC to identify wireless products in the market. The FCC chooses 3 or 5 character "Grantee" codes to identify the business that created the product. For example, the grantee code for FCC ID: E5MDS-4GY is E5M. The remaining characters of the FCC ID, DS-4GY, are often associated with the product model, but they can be random. These letters are chosen by the applicant. In addition to the application, the FCC also publishes internal images, external images, user manuals, and test results for wireless devices. They can be under the "exhibits" tab below.

Single Modular Approval. Power out listed is conducted at the antenna terminal. This device is to be used only for mobile and fixed application; and must not be co-located or operating in conjunction with any other antenna or transmitter, except in accordance with FCC multi- transmitter evaluation procedures as documented in this filing. End-Users must be provided with transmitter operation conditions for satisfying RF exposure compliance. OEM integrators must insure that the end user has no manual instructions to remove or install this module. For mobile and fixed operating configurations the antenna gain, including cable loss, must not exceed 6 dBi at 700 MHz, 850 MHz, 1700 MHz and 1900 MHz; 9 dBi at 2500/2600 MHz; and 1 dBi at 2300 MHz, as defined in 2.1091 for satisfying RF exposure compliance. Under no conditions may an antenna gain be used that would exceed the ERP and EIRP power limits as specified in Parts 22, 24 and 27. The Grantee is responsible for providing the documentation required for modular use. This device has 5 MHz and 10 MHz bandwidth modes for LTE Bands 13 and 30 (700/2300 MHz); 1.4 MHz, 3 MHz, 5 MHz and 10 MHz bandwidth modes for LTE Bands 5 and 12 (850/700 MHz); 1.4 MHz, 3 MHz, 5 MHz, 10 MHz and 15 MHz modes for LTE Band 26 (850 MHz); 1.4 MHz, 3 MHz, 5 MHz, 10 MHz, 15 MHz and 20 MHz bandwidth modes for LTE Bands 2, 25 and 4 (1900 and 1700 MHz); 5 MHz, 10 MHz, 15 MHz and 20 MHz bandwidth modes for LTE Bands 7 and 41 (2500/2600 MHz).

Class II Permissive Change

Power out listed is conducted at the antenna terminal. This device is to be used only for mobile and fixed application; and must not be co-located or operating in conjunction with any other antenna or transmitter, except in accordance with FCC multi- transmitter evaluation procedures as documented in this filing. End-Users must be provided with transmitter operation conditions for satisfying RF exposure compliance. OEM integrators must insure that the end user has no manual instructions to remove or install this module. For mobile and fixed operating configurations the antenna gain, including cable loss, must not exceed 6 dBi at 700 MHz, 850 MHz, 1700 MHz and 1900 MHz; 12.21dBi at 899MHz; 9 dBi at 2500/2600 MHz; and 1 dBi at 2300 MHz, as defined in 2.1091 for satisfying RF exposure compliance. Under no conditions may an antenna gain be used that would exceed the ERP and EIRP power limits as specified in Parts 22, 24 and 27. The Grantee is responsible for providing the documentation required for modular use.

This device has 3 MHz bandwidth for LTE Band 8 (899MHz); 5 MHz and 10 MHz bandwidth modes for LTE Bands 13 and 30 (700/2300 MHz); 1.4 MHz, 3 MHz, 5 MHz and 10 MHz bandwidth modes for LTE Bands 5 and 12 (850/700 MHz); 1.4 MHz, 3 MHz, 5 MHz, 10 MHz and 15 MHz modes for LTE Band 26 (850 MHz); 1.4 MHz, 3 MHz, 5 MHz, 10 MHz, 15 MHz and 20 MHz bandwidth modes for LTE Bands 2, 25 and 4 (1900 and 1700 MHz); 5 MHz, 10 MHz, 15 MHz and 20 MHz bandwidth modes for LTE Bands 7 and 41 (2500/2600 MHz).
